Pentecost — also known as Whitsunday (derived from the white garments worn by those who were to be baptized on this day) — marks the beginning of the New Testament church of Jesus Christ. It is a festival of thanksgiving for the firstfruits as well, not the firstfruits of an earthly harvest, but of a harvest of souls. On the first Pentecost of the New Testament 3,000 people were baptized and added to the church.

We are to go and preach and teach all nations about what God has done for all mankind of bringing salvation for the world. We are to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

This is done in both of our congregations. You are welcome to come and hear this good news.
